Do You Remember?

Do you remember when you were a child?

When you would go to the park and play with kids for hours

and never know there name.

When profanity was never said.

And you hated to go to bed.

When I like just simply meant you wanted to be friends.

When you loved to play out doors instead of spending your time on your phone.

When love was easy to earn.

Before you new what horrible thins where happing in the world

When it didn’t matter who played jump rope

you can be a boy or a girl.

When you lived life the only way, you knew how.

When you were happy, do you remember?
