How to Draw a Face Anime Style

To draw a face anime style, the first thing you need to do is get all of the materials. This step is the most important because without the proper materials you can’t do this. You will need a blank sheet of paper; any color is fine, as long as you can see the pencil markings. You will also need a good eraser, and something to write on, table recommended. Chose the direction in which you want you paper, in other word decide if you want your paper the long way or the short way.      

The fist thing to do is to draw two ovals diagonally. These two ovals will end up being the eyes so don’t use up the whole page. The eyes of an anime character are very important, so important in fact, it can determine if your charter looks like a boy or a girl. It also shows the emotions of the charter, so think about this as you draw your ovals. Narrow eyes make your cheater look more like a boy, rounder eyes for the girls. Then with your eraser, cut each of the ovals in half diagonally. Next under each of the upper, half’s of the oval, draw a line mimicking the line above it. (These to lines are very close). Then inside of each of the cut in half ovals, you draw a circle. After that in the upper or lower corner of the circle, draw a small circle. Keep the smaller circle white. If you are going to color, you picture the do it at the end, but if you were just using pencil shading then your next step would be to draw small lines going from the outside part of the smaller circle to the end of the bigger circle. If you are not satisfied with the result of how your eye looks so far, then now if the time to erase before you go any further. Next, are the eyelashes; starting from the second line of the upper half of each of the ovals, draw curved lines going out, for the left eye draw lines going out to the left and for the right eye to the right. For the eye draw a curved line over each eye, to make thicker just trace over the curveted line harder.

 For the nose, below the eyes and in the center, draw a short straight line with a point at the end that looks like the tip of an arrow.  Then for the mouth, draw a small line going either straight or horizontal. By now you, picture should have eyes, eyebrow, a nose, and a mouth. Now draw an egg shaped circle around what you’ve drawn so far. Next, draw the ears. The ears length can be measured by using the eyebrows and the nose. The top of the ear is at the same level as eyebrows and the bottom of the ear is the same level as the tipoff the nose. If you want your charter to have earring, now is the time to draw them. For the neck, draw curved lines in opposite directions stating from the ears and going out. If it is the right side of the neck, then the line should curve out towage the right. If it is the left side of the neck, then the line should curve out towage the left. Erase the part of the part of the oval that is above the eyebrows, then replace the empty space with any hairstyle you want; don’t erase the top if you want the person to be balled. Now you can add any extra trait, such as freckles, add dashes under the eyes for blush marks, glasses etc. then finally you’re done.
